Summary
He wishes he had the strength to move, to try to get free, but he can barely keep drawing in breath after breath, let alone think about the energy it would take to do so much as roll over. He closes his eyes and dozes.
Sharp footsteps on the cement snap him awake. His body goes tense, ribs aching. It’s still dark, long shadows looming around him. He squints through the darkness, picking out a shadow among shadows. A familiar shadow. “B-bat-” he croaks, voice barely scraping free. His lip cracks and he tastes blood. “Batman?” He knew he would come.
The shadow kneels down in front of him. Light floods the room suddenly, making Dick flinch. His vision blurs, Batman’s cowled face swimming through the blur of tears. He must be seeing double, because… why are there two of him?
A piercing cackle echoes through the warehouse. He lifts his head just enough to see the Joker walking toward them, video camera held up in front of him. “Smile for the camera, Boy Blunder.”

Prince Jacaerys Velaryon flies to Winterfell to treat with Lord Cregan Stark.

This is that story.
On either side of their lookout, the Wall extends further than the eye can see; a never-ending barrier of ice that shimmers even as it weeps—beautiful, yet haunting.
"Welcome to the edge of your realm," Cregan murmurs. His gruff tone has softened, the words brushing over Jace's ear in a caress, coiling heat in his belly.
The treeline echos the prince's paramour, rustling in the distance as if to greet Jacaerys. And he supposes it's an apt salute, for on the morrow, he will be the first Targaryen to step into the unknown beyond it.
A journey that begins with Jace's arrival in Winterfell, ends with his departure, and includes a three-part epilogue covering their lives together during his reign as king.
