George awoke with a start, gasping for air as he sat up in bed. He looked around frantically, trying to get a handle of his surroundings, but everything was dark, in the shadows. Where was he? How did he get here?
He blinks hard a few times, enough for little dots of light to flicker in the sides of his vision. The darkness starts to fade into a blurred forest surrounding him. Dark wood towers above him, tall mushroom stalks peeking behind branches. Birds can be heard chirping in the distance, a faint breeze rustling the trees. Some fog clouds form around the branches overhead.
It would be paradise if George could remember how the hell he got here.
George can't tell the difference between dreams and reality. He tries to deal with the curse, learning how to recognize when something was a dream or not. Along with his delusions, he finds out about Dream's torture in the prison and befriends a God. (George breaks Dream out of prison finally.)
