Jesse ran through the door, for a brief moment ecstatic at the thought of finally being able to go home. That broke the moment he felt the hand still holding MT's stop at some invisible barrier keeping her on the other side. He tried to turn around, tried to pull MT through with him, but nothing worked. The train dumped him unceremoniously back out in front of his house, alone.
And it was a one way trip.
That wasn't going to stop him though. One way or another, he was going to save his friend.
