Summary
Butcher made a point to grumble in the way he always does; about how heavy Hughie was or how much trouble he goes through for him. Yet, despite how loud his complaints were, he was always the first and most eager to get himself involved with anything to do with Hughie anyway, regardless of what the situation was. Hughie could always count on Butcher being a sturdy and reliable partner, just like Butcher could always count on Hughie always being there for him too— albeit with shakier knees and a lot more sweat. That's just how they were.
But would it be enough for what's to come?
Hughie, who had always wanted to help Butcher shoulder the dark world he kept from him, finally gets an opportunity. However, instead of swooping in heroically on a non-life-threatening mission to save the day, Hughie was roped in via a very confusing and violating situation. Since then, everything seems to be going downhill.
Unexpectedly, the spiteful and callous "heroes" that Butcher made enemies of did not direct that ire toward Hughie despite him being Butcher's partner.
Instead of sharing the weight of hate, Hughie was getting a different form of attention with just as much passion.(summaries are hard)

Summary
The sea gave you whiplash near constantly, ever shifting tides that could either crash violently or glide gently against sandy beaches.
The sea was a contradiction, double sided in its very nature.
NRU was a bust, leaving Percy aimless for the first time in years as the two things that’d always been a constant in his life fizzled away; his girlfriend and ever-looming prophecies.
Life would never be easy, not for Perseus Jackson.
Because on one side, his half-siblings despised his more than every titan ever born despite his best efforts to win them over, cruelty brewing in a way to kick him when he was already down.
And on the other side, his father was trying desperately to repair the fragile relationship between them, in his own way, and Percy had to try his best to ignore the growing agitation his father seemed to feel towards Paul Blofis.
Family had always been on the back burner for most of his life, but with nothing else to do..
It looks like it’s time for some very awkward repairs to be made.
(TL;DR, Percy is down on his luck after the war with Gaia and now seafam have to desperately try to win him back after being total assholes)
