It's par for the course that the men that catch Kevin's eye wear the rumpled naval uniforms of whatever country he's in, even if he hates it more than he can say. Something had gotten crossed a long time ago, a piece put back in the wrong place, where the thing he hated most was always the thing that he got stuck on. But he never acts on it with the navy ghouls. It's the one line he tries not to cross, even if they were always some of the easiest chaps in any port.
He doesn't know what it is about this Baden guy that's gotten so under his skin.
