He was not a dater. Some could say that his job was his relationship. His last date that he could even remember was back in his academy days. Tina was persistent and stubborn, just like him. Gavin knew this more than anyone. He knew that to get her off his back he would have to come up with something to satiate her curiosity and desire to get him in a relationship.
Without much of an option, Gavin Reed would have to do what he does best: lie.-----
Gavin makes up a man to satiate Tina's quest to get him to go on a date. Just as he thinks the gig is up, the man wanders into his work and claims Gavin's life in great danger. Gavin has to face the prophecy of his own death, with a man he believed to be fictional at his side. -

Summary
Heavy cases always meant a plethora of paperwork to follow. Nines would get it completed, and check over Detective Reed's reports for errors as well. As long as he could block out the distracting noise across the room.
It was the soft little gasps that broke his focus. The little inhales that the human would make. A shuttering sound of ecstasy. He would be cut off with a soft choke, a long period of silence and shuffling. Then a deep gasping inhale that filled his lungs would follow. Panting and quivering. Nines could hear the human's heart pounding in his chest, even from this distance.----
Gavin has a long day, but with the help of his androids he forgets all of his troubles for just a bit. -

Summary
When Nines had gone missing, it was too shocking for everyone to ignore. The android had a perfect record when it came to being on time. Even the instances he had to walk in the rain he was still in the door by 8:30 on the dot, and had Gavin’s coffee steaming on the desk by the time the detective walked in at 9.
The android did not clock in at 8:30. The terminal still off by 8:40. No coffee on the desk at 9. Not a sign of the android as hours passed bit by bit.
Something was wrong.

Nines goes missing, and is found in critical condition. Gavin and Connor confront their feelings for not just each other, but Nines as well. Nines faces his own feelings while disconnected from them all. When they reconnect will they find a mutual understanding, and even form a relationship that lasts? -

The RK900 unit was designed to hunt. To find, capture, and destroy targets with ease. Be they android or human, nothing could hide from robotic eyes. RK900’s were machines for war, and that is what they would do. But at the moment, Nines was useless

The detective ignored the comment and continued, "—it's also calming in it's own way."
"Calming?"
"Yeah." Gavin rotated some to look at the android, "You ever just stood in the snow? Let it fall around you. All still and quiet?"
"No." the yellow glow of Nines's LED reflected back from the window and framed his face in soft light. Gavin found himself staring.
There was a quick clearing of Gavin's throat and he turned away again, staring at the apartment building, "You should one day. Helps the mind."

Nines’ head tilted like a predator, eyes focused on Gavin. Suddenly the air in the room was getting thinner. “I am an RK900 model, the last android developed by Cyberlife before the shut down. I was made to correct all flaws of the RK800 model, equipped with the assets of every android before me and designed for war. So no, Detective Reed, I am not an ‘off-brand Connor model.’”

Summary
After the car accident that nearly killed them both and left Cole in leg braces, Hank Anderson decided life was too short to not dedicate it to his kid. He left the DPD to open his own business where he could do work he loved that didn’t risk his life while always having time for Cole. Three years later, his handroasted coffeeshop is moderately successful, and he’s looking to hire a pastry chef to add bakery goods onto his menu.
Post-revolution, RK-800 Connor is looking for reliable, simple employment that will take him away from police & investigative work and give him a chance to get his head together as a new deviant. When Captain Fowler nudges him in Hank’s direction, it seems like a logical solution.
Nothing can run smoothly, though, and while Hank manages the stress of being a single father and owning his own business, Connor is balancing his own personal existential crisis with the fact that he doesn’t fit in anywhere and isn’t sure what kind of life he’s going to lead when Hank inevitably gets sick of him and lets him go. It isn’t even close to the ‘best’ of circumstances. But Connor’s starting to think if he isn’t real in Hank’s bakery, he isn’t real at all.

There’s a new farmer in the little town of Jericho and Hank, for one, does not care for it. He’s seen a lot of them come and go; they never last long. And this one is… odd.
Connor is tenacious and prim-looking and doesn’t know any fucking boundaries. He doesn’t quite get town customs either. He gives shitty gifts and doesn’t take no for an answer. And no matter how hard Hank tries, he can’t avoid running into him.
Connor isn’t handsome at all. And he is none of Hank’s business.
Connor doesn’t want. He was made to be a farmer and that is what he will do: tend to crops, raise animals and slay monsters. He will likely give his life for the mission and that’s fine. He’s not asking for more than this. Until he does.(A Stardew Valley AU - written for the DBH big bang 2023)
