Summary

After five years of living in America, studying to become a Forensic Pathologist, Wei Ying receives a letter in the mail which forces him to come face to face with what he'd been trying to avoid all of these years. A rock stuck in a hard place, he now has to find a way to get out of an engagement he doesn't want.

While making wedding preparations, the newly engaged couple meet each side of the family to get their blessings. Lan Wangji finally gets to learn more about Wei Ying and his family as not many people know about Yinhu. Wei Wuxian too is excited at meeting the Gusu Lan dragons. First, they head off to visit the Sanren tribe to introduce Lan Wangji to Wei Wuxian’s family, before going to the Cloud Recesses to introduce Wei Wuxian to the Lans. Both fox and dragon knew they were going to have a fun time knowing more about their lover's loved ones, and intend to make the most out of it.
