Summary
“Wanna dance?” Eddie asks, leaning only slightly away to look at Buck. He’s smirking now, eyes traveling all over Buck’s face, taking in his expression and the color blooming on his cheeks.
There’s a look in Eddie’s eyes now, one that Buck hadn’t quite seen before this trip. Or had he? Did it just not mean to him then what he realizes, or thinks, it means now? Regardless, it confirms a thought that has been niggling at the back of his mind all night.
Flirting. Eddie was flirting with him.
or, Buck visits Eddie in Texas a few months after he leaves LA. They road trip to Austin with Adriana to stay with Sophia, who has planned a night out on the town that none of them will soon forget - especially Buck and Eddie.

Summary
"I'm Buck."
"Buck," Eddie tests the name out. Buck. He likes that name. It sounds good, warm and safe and comfortingly familiar on his tongue. "You're my husband."
Buck's eyes widen, obviously surprised that Eddie remembered that. See, look? He's recovering remarkably quickly. He'll have his full memory back in no time.
"Your husband," Buck repeats and Chris, for some reason, starts giggling.
"My husband," Eddie agrees happily.

Summary
Breathe — come on, Buck, breathe!
Buck doubles over, clutching at his chest, his lungs burning. Pain explodes across his sternum like he’s just been punched.
Don’t do this to me, please.
Finally, Buck manages to suck in a ragged breath. “I…I think I can hear Eddie,” he gasps, dazed. He glances over at the stairs, expecting to see Eddie appear at the top.
Bobby nods, his hands still on Buck’s shoulders. “You have to go back to him.”
Buck looks up at Bobby. “He isn’t here?”
Bobby’s eyes well with tears. “No, Buck. He isn’t here.”

Summary
Buck supposes in a way, he’s always been a little obsessive.
When a thought grips him—a fear—he’s rarely able to let go of it again. It digs its little claws into his brain and makes a home inside his head until eventually, it relents and loosens its hold. Sometimes, it’s only to make room for a new fear. Other times, it simply disappears on its own.
It’s just something he’s learned to live with—something he can live with.
And then he gets struck by lightning.
Or: After Buck gets struck by lightning, he starts to develop OCD.
