Summary
Lena Luthor has been at the center of several assassination attempts, orchestrated by her now imprisoned brother, and all of which have been thwarted by the DEO and Supergirl.
But Lena is getting more and more frustrated by the secrets the DEO (and Supergirl by extension) is keeping from her. She vents her frustration to Kara, who against her better judgement agrees to go with Lena on a non DEO sanctioned outing to one of Lex’s abandoned buildings. There they discover a secret lab, which becomes their prison when they fall victim to a trap Lex has set for Lena and Supergirl, in the form of red kryptonite.
Lena’s not worried, because for the first time in weeks she’s finally dodged her super hero shadow. It’s just her and Kara, so of course the red k shouldn’t have any effect on them.
She’s not worried, until she sees the look of absolute panic in her friends eyes.

“Had some business to take care of. Thought I'd stop by and say hello.”
“Oh, it's good to see you!” She hugs him tightly. When she lets go, she points at Lena with a smile, “You know my girl friend, Lena, right?”
Clark’s brows furrow for half a second. Lena’s nearly meet her hairline. “Yes.” He finally says, “Ms. Luthor, how are you?”
“Good.” Lena swallows. Confused, but good.

Summary
After Lena kills Lex and Kara comes to her apartment to accuse her of being a villain, Lena doesn't create Non-Nocere. Instead, she does her best to continue living without her 'friends', leans on Sam for support, and continues to run L-Corp. Ten months go by with no contact between them, not a single word. Until...Lena gets a phone call from an unknown number.
It's Alex Danvers.
"Lena, please don't hang up! It's Kara. You should come to the DEO."
What happens when the last thing you said to your best friend was something incredibly cruel, downright awful? You've just gotten a phone call from her sister telling you she's been in a coma for three weeks? That they're not sure she's going to wake up? What if...?

"Lena, I'm... I'm sorry. I was trying to catch Lex for you," Kara says, earnestly. "That's why I'm doing this. Of course, I care about you."
"You care about me a little less than you do as the source of your story." Lena takes a sip of her scotch.
"No, no! It's not like that! I wish I could explain..." Kara nearly stomps her foot in frustration.
Lena raises an eyebrow and waits.
"But..." Kara looks down at the ground. "But maybe it's better if I just go." She turns and walks out of the room.
The sudden departure cracks Lena's heart, and she blinks back tears.
