Summary
Thorg is a jaded, world weary orc who lives in Booty Bay running a bar called the Run a Rig with a motley crew of employees from both factions. He wants to enjoy life after experiencing unspeakable horrors during war. One of his favorite ways of doing that is by taking his pleasure with women, especially those from the Alliance, who express curiosity about big, fierce orcs.
Kira is a sheltered human whose apprenticeship in the healing arts lands her a post in Booty Bay. The atmosphere in the city is exciting and a sense of adventure and freedom encourage her to explore an unexpected infatuation with "the enemy."
It seems straightforward: a one-night stand without any attachments. Neither Thorg nor Kira are looking for a serious relationship. They are both quite sure and clear about this.

Thor and his girl exchanged a few words then she laughed patting Thor’s bicep. The blond responded with a joyful grin before he popped open the trunk and began unloading their things from the vehicle.
When she sighted Bucky, her plush red lips curled into a friendly smile. The back of his neck went hot.
“Hey, Sergeant Cutie, wanna use that sweet arm to help me carry this box?”
And with that, Bucky was ice cold.

Imagine that for orcs, the hair beads have a deeper meaning than just being an ornament.
Just like dwarves, orcs have beads that are given by parents on special occasions like birthdays, by friends as tokens of comeradeship, after a battle to commemorate their bravery, and private beads given as a sign of affection.Reader doesn't know of this and casually gives an orc warrior a hair tie with beads after redoing his braid - which for him means she want's to start a courtship with him ❤️
