    Summary

Draco couldn't remember when he first realised he was gone for Harry Potter. If he thought about it too hard, he might come to an uncomfortable conclusion that put their Hogwarts years into a whole new perspective. But when had he truly known? It was impossible to pinpoint.

Was it when he first saw him again after the trials, walking through Diagon Alley with Luna, hands in his pockets, easy smile on his face, as he listened to her talk about something Draco couldn't hear? Was it during their first meeting since the war, when he brushed off Draco's attempted apologies with a simple "We were kids. All of us were."? Was it the first time the two of them had gotten drunk together? The second, the third? Was it when Potter told Draco to invite his Slytherin friends, when their nights at the pub became a weekly appointment, when he first woke up on Potter's couch after a night too long to apparate home? Was it when Draco first realised that the two of them had, by some inexplicable cosmic accident, become friends? If he wasn't careful, Draco might start to believe that anything could be possible. Tonight wasn't helping.

Or: Draco gives up, and finally gives in.

    Summary

The man looked up, and for the first time Richie saw his face and realized the man was about his age, but he looked older. He was tired, and there was a distinct unhappiness in his face. There was also something so familiar about him, but Richie couldn’t quite place it. He was going to piss him off, he was sure of it.

The man brushed his wet hair off of his forehead, and took off his glasses, attempting to clean off the raindrops with his damp jacket, but it didn’t help at all. “Do you have the new Keith Urban album? Or, I think it’s his new one… the one with his cover of Romeo’s Tune?”

“Yeah.” Richie confirmed, and now looking at this guy… Something was clicking. Something frustrating and fuzzy in the back of his mind that was screaming You know him!
