“Why not?” Alastor pursed his lips. “Am I not pretty enough for you?”
Red eyes danced with mirth. It was a joke. It was a joke, but it didn’t sit right with Vox nonetheless.
“You’re beautiful.” Vox confessed.
Alastor’s breath wavered.
“How beautiful?”
Vox didn’t say anything. Instead, he closed the distance between them. Alastor’s lips were soft and pliant against his and Vox could feel the raw trust in them. It made his heart clench. He swore he’d take care of it. He’d hold it close. He’d caress it, he’d love it, he’d cherish it—he’d do everything in his power to keep it safe.

Summary
Having chosen to live as Vox's prisoner, Alastor decides to have some fun trading unnecessary creature comforts (superfluous things like food, water, not having to spend all day in a chair) for sexual favours. Of course, the more he gives the more Vox wants to take, regardless of what he has to trade to get it.
Basically Vox is obsessed with Alastor, and Alastor decides to use that knowledge to his advantage. A sexual relationship develops that threatens everything Vox has worked for - and everything Alastor believes about himself.

“What happened?” He demanded, apparently thinking Katsuki must have been attacked by a towel in his absence. “Are you okay? What’s wrong?”
