After Rhaenyra’s death, and soon after Daemon’s, everything changed for Aegon. He was seventeen years old, dragged toward a crown he had never wanted to bear.
As the weight of fate began to fall upon him, Aemond stepped forward.
“Give me the crown.”
Aegon looked at him, confused, unable to fully understand his words.

Anakin scoffed. “What, for letting myself be dressed up like a doll and learning how to kneel correctly? Very useful Jedi skills.” The words sounded like they were made up of rage and fire as he spoke.
Obi-Wan’s mouth quirked, the ghost of a smile that didn’t quite land. “You underestimate how valuable it is,” he replied softly. “They believed you. They believed us. That’s what we need.”
“Congratulations,” Anakin said. The word came out ugly. “I make a convincing pet.”

Obi-Wan was hurt. He was bleeding and wouldn't wake up. Little Anakin, only recently freed from slavery, went to the cockpit of the ship to send a distress call. He took a deep breath, then, as steadily as he could, spoke into the transmitter. “We need help, please. I don’t know where we are and we need help. Is anyone there?”
The distress call was answered and it changed everything.
