Summary
The world blinks, and four of the five Lugunican Royal Candidates — alongside a handful of their closest attendants — are spirited to a room outside of time and space. There is an odd meteor front and center, and a glass jar to their left that has locked one of their dear comrades just out of arm’s reach.
A demonstration focused on the Unsung Hero, Natsuki Subaru, begins — and the meteor comes to life.

Calamitas.
The Witch of Calamity.
She fell into another world, at the behest of a certain other witch. It wasn't how she would've liked to escape Yharim, but she'd take anything at that point.
The instant she was in the sky, she was dragged into that world's problems. Wonderful.
Everything and everyone she left behind weren't keen on letting her escape so easily. There's only one thing left for traitors, after all.
Problems just loved to find their way to her.
Sigh.

Summary
Humans are not meant to live past a certain threshold. Death is as natural to them as breathing. So what happens when one does not die, does not age, does not erode away like all other things in the world as they should?
Do they go mad? Or do they resign themselves to a fate worse than death, becoming the last thing in an entropic end case scenario?
Or do they struggle, fighting back against a world that seems hell bent on making them suffer by taking everything they have away, one by one.
The Royal Selection is but one succession crisis in a long line of many to an immortal being. But what should happen if all of that experience, all of that accumulated knowledge and talent were to take an interest? Would it be altruistic or selfish? Benign or hazardous?
Well that all depends on where you're standing doesn't it?
