But no one could have fathomed what happened after that. Least of all the two of them.

Basically my BakuDeku’s Guide To Being Boyfriends series 2.0.
While working on that I noticed how much better it would be as a consecutive story. So, I took the base storyline and edited it. Heavily. The core points of the story so far stayed the same. But I optimised it in a lot of places. So, even if you read Nighttime Nightmare and everything that came or comes after, you probably still want to read this. It also continues after what happened in Fire Meets Gasoline. So, stay tuned.——————————

Izuku had always struggled with nightmares. Even as a child.
But he had them handled. He could deal with them on his own.At least until the memories of Kachan’s death resurface and fling him right into a panic attack.
Not knowing what else to do, Izuku’s nightmares goes to the only person able to help him with his nightmares.He could never have expected what that night would bring.

Summary
Nami is the first one to notice something is amiss, but then given her current competition is Luffy and Zoro, it isn’t surprising.
“Do you love Zoro?” She doesn’t bother beating around the bush. Doesn’t bother with easing into it with any metaphors or small talk, one of which Luffy would have little interest in, and the other of which would go over his head.
He stares back at her, and for a split second she feels like she’s gone and shoved her foot right into her mouth. Something flickers through his eyes, but she doesn’t have time to fully study it before his features shutter again.
Luffy tilts his head. “Of course I do.”
Part of her wants to cheer, shout aha! because she knew it, dammit, but then he proceeds to barrel right over that.
“I love you too,” to which she freezes, and then: “And Usopp, and Sanji, I guess. You guys are my friends.”
She wants to scream.
