Chuuya slams the freezer door shut. “Dazai,” he growls, “Why the fuck are you here?”
Dazai flashes him a mischievous grin. “Well you see, your little rich girl impression today made me wonder if you still had your overpriced penthouse and if it was as tacky as I remembered—”
“Say shit like that again and I’ll punch ya all the way back to the Detective Agency.”
“Or maybe it’s because I wanted to double check that you had not, in fact, managed to grow any taller in the last four years.”
Chuuya inhales deeply. Don’t do something stupid, don’t do something stupid.
“As for me well…” Dazai’s mouth curls in a devious smirk, “Let’s just say my height isn’t the only thing that’s gotten bigger since the last time you saw me.”
Don’t do something—ah FUCK IT.

Chuuya’s bowing, looking up at Dazai with those striking eyes of his, eyelashes fluttering and not an ounce of discomfort even when the corset hugs tight, a show of elegance with practised ease; practically handing himself over on a platter and–
“You’re all very welcome,” Dazai says with a civil nod of his head, focusing entirely on keeping the shake out of his voice and the butterflies buried deep in his stomach where they may or may not belong.
Or: There's a change to the guest list, and Prince Dazai's rival (boyfriend, but no one needs to know that) shows up after weeks of being drowned in responsibilities. Dazai tries to keep his composure during the ball, but it's hard when Chuuya's doing everything to make him lose it.

Chuuya thought he had nothing else to live for. He had run away from everything he knew only to be captured and sentenced to a fate worse than death. His hope was long gone. That is until one fateful night he meets a mysterious stranger that turns his life around for the better… or worse.
One problem still remained: he hated his guts.
Dazai Osamu is the most irritating person he’s ever had the displeasure of meeting, and now Chuuya was aboard his ship. Chuuya knows nothing of this cold newcomer or why he is risking everything to achieve his goal. But worst of all, he knows nothing of what fate has in store for them on the high seas.
