    Summary

At Shiz, Elphaba becomes fascinated by the Upland twins. She is drawn to quiet, perfect Melinda and instantly dislikes Galinda, whose loud charm and constant need for attention feel shallow and unbearable. Convinced she has fallen for the right twin, Elphaba never questions her certainty, but life proves her wrong.

    Summary

When Elphaba imagined Glinda’s wedding night, she’d naturally imagined that Glinda would spend said night with the groom. Instead, Glinda would much rather spend the most wonderful night of her life with her newly returned, soon-to-be rehabilitated best friend. It only gets gayer and more off course from there.

Canon Divergence — what if Elphaba actually had stayed at the palace after “Wonderful” and Glinda/Fiyero actually got married? How much of 'For Good' is set in stone? Can Elphaba and Glinda come together to stop impending tragedy?

    “I only wish—”

    “What?” Fiyero asks her.

“I only wish that Glinda could know… that we’re alive—”

“She can’t know. Not if we want to be safe.”

    Elphaba disagrees.

Or, Elphaba's journey back to Glinda.

    Summary

Thieves aren't in the business of love - they're in the business of money, of coins clinking and shining, cold and hard. But Galinda doesn't want money - what she wants is flesh, warm and yielding under the pressure of her fingers, soft and supple and slick; tasting like salt, like sweat - like blood.

or; Galinda is inveigled into a scheme to divest one Elphaba Thropp of her fortune. A retelling of Sarah Waters' Fingersmith starring Oz's finest.

    Summary

Frustrated by the pressure from both work and university combined, Galinda signs up for a pole dance class on a whim to finally do something for herself. It goes as good as could be expected, which is not at all, but she decides to soldier on anyway. Then one evening, her roommate joins her there. Turns out Elphaba is much better at this than Galinda ever hoped to be, and that doesn't help the crush Galinda has had on her for years.

Or, a story about pining and yearning and wilful ignorance born out of fear to ask for more, and how sometimes a bird in the hand is no better than two in the bush. How taking a risk could feel like both falling down and falling apart, and how it suddenly isn't that terrifying when someone is there to catch you.
