The smirk disappears from Shinsou’s face.

God, is this fucker deaf or something? “I like you,” he grits out, annoyed that he has to drag this out any further. How many times does he need to say it? Once should be enough, dammit.
“You like me,” Shinsou says slowly, letting the words sink in. His eyes trail over Bakugou's figure.
In one sudden motion, he shifts away from the doorframe. There’s not much space separating them now, but like hell is Bakugou going to back off to give him more room.
“Prove it,” Shinsou says.

It’s not his fault, not really. He just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time during patrol. It was dumb luck really, that he crossed paths with the Mafia leader whose case he’d been keeping tabs on. Dumb luck that he recognized Hizashi on that dark street corner and even luckier that it happened in a blind spot in the security footage of the convenience store nearby.
One of the details of the case was that the leader was quirk less. The investigators and insiders had been wrong.[i.e. if Hizashi was walking down the street minding his own business and suddenly got turned into a dog would that be fucked up or what?]
