Romantic love couldn’t be real, he concluded at 14 when a girl in his year asked him to the Sadie Hawkins dance, blush sitting high on her cheeks as she stumbled through her prepared speech. He had seen the look she gave him many times from others in their year. The infatuation, the giggling, the coy shyness. Year 10 love always faded into nothing, and soon two partners were as good as strangers in a matter of weeks. The girl, for what it’s worth, took the rejection in stride, though he could see the prickles of tears welling in her eyes as she turned away from him.
The cycle would continue with her, as it does with everyone. Her feelings for Louis will fade until she feels nothing for him, and he becomes another faceless boy in her journey to find her love, even if he didn’t think that love truly existed.

Summary
AU. Nineteen year old Peter Parker has worked for SHIELD ever since he had a run-in with Nick Fury over alien technology a couple of years ago.
When Tony Stark and Happy Hogan are injured in an attack that uses unfamiliar alien tech, Peter is assigned by Fury as their bodyguard and informant. He has one rule he tells himself on missions. Or, well, one rule with three sub-sections: get in and out, stay alert, and do not get attached. (That last sub-section holds more weight than the others — by about forty percent, give or take.)
Morgan Stark — and, apparently, the rest of the Avengers, along with people he's tried to leave behind — are making the last part of that rule very difficult for him. Oh, and it turns out that Tony Stark isn't as big of an asshole as everyone makes him out to be. Who knew?

Summary
Harry Styles, model-turned-influencer, is a household name for nearly anyone under the age of forty, thanks to his popular brand, Pleasing. It seems like the entire young adult population can be found walking the streets in a Pleasing branded crewneck and with Pleasing polish decorating their nails. The world has bought into Harry Styles, and thus, into Pleasing.
Except for Louis Tomlinson. Call him cynical, but he's thirty-three, lives in an expensive, empty apartment in New York, and only lives for his job and his weekly pub night with his best friend. Harry Styles means nothing to him... until his marketing firm acquires Pleasing's next campaign: sex toys (and personal lubricant).
He's not happy about the new partnership, and he's not afraid to make his displeasure known. Even if that means saying it to Harry Styles' unfairly pretty face. What could go wrong?
