Summary

"The death which you fought so hard to defy is mine to conquer by nature." Flins purred, his eyes glowing that eerie cat-like yellow. For the first time, Rerir saw what so many others did when they set eyes upon him. "Do you fear the dark, Rerir?" He understood why so many would answer 'yes'.
"The dark is my dominion." Rerir insisted, his mouth curled in a snarl.
"The dark belongs to no man. One day it will swallow you whole, and spit you out." He leaned in closer, a gentle smile flickering across his face. "You'd best pray I am there, when that day comes. I don't think many others would light a lantern for you. Rerir," he continued, with the force of a name owned, "sleep."

Would you go with me?"When Cait and Vi announce their wedding, Jayce is delighted to attend. There's only one problem: Mel is going to be there, and you can bet she won't be alone. Jayce's love life was about as busy as the Academy on a Friday night, and his address book was almost exclusively comprised of people Cait knew, too. There was no way she (or anyone else at that damn wedding) would buy Jayce suddenly dating one of them.
There was, unfortunately, only one person who could really help him.

That is, the alternative appears in the form of one Stanley Snyder -- who is very, very attractive. The organised crime doesn't look nearly as good, but there's certainly money to be had, and the things Xeno could do with money!
Stanley is not what he seems -- but neither is Xeno, and with everyone keeping their cards close to their chests, what could possibly go wrong?
