"The dark belongs to no man. One day it will swallow you whole, and spit you out." He leaned in closer, a gentle smile flickering across his face. "You'd best pray I am there, when that day comes. I don't think many others would light a lantern for you. Rerir," he continued, with the force of a name owned, "sleep."

Wriothesley. Standing at the edge of the ballroom, cloaked in the dark. Three empty champagne flutes were beside him, a testament to how long he'd been lurking in the corner.
Wriothesley. Who he hadn't seen in several centuries. A man whose reincarnations rarely survived his teen years, usually falling into some unfortunate situation or another. A man who Neuvilette had given up on finding as a result. He knew that his counterparts - the other immortals from Teyvat - found their loved ones incarnation after incarnation, only having to remain patient for decades at a time. They would reunite and have the chance to fall in love all over again. A new version of them, new quirks but the same soul. Neuvilette had no such luck.
Wriothesley, who he had most certainly been staring at for over five minutes. Wriothesley. Who was now looking back at him like he was insane.

A room of very dangerous, very confused men stared on as the mayor calmly sipped his tea.
Mayor Zhongli, the man who turned this dump of a town into a bustling metropolis, currently sat at a small round table in the centre of the room. Boss Tartaglia - the most feared man in the criminal underworld, both here and over the border in Avidya - sat opposite him. A single pot of tea rested between them, two delicate China cups filled with steaming hot liquid.
The silence was palpable, Tartaglia's men finding their hands twitching anxiously by their guns.
Zhongli wants to return the lands of Liyue to their former glory.
Tartaglia controls the ports. The last thing he needs is a competent mayor - or so he thinks.
That mayor turns out to be quite the charmer and suddenly he's not quite sure what he needs.

Shouto Todoroki, the young lord of an extensive estate, becomes grievously ill. It is the result of an age-old curse, and there is only one cure - forgiveness from the man who laid that curse upon their father. But Touya Todoroki is dead. Or so they thought.
This is the story of a race against time - they must find their estranged brother, earn his forgiveness and save young Shouto. So, of course, they hire the fastest man on the planet.
Hawks has never felt so underprepared in his life.
Nevertheless, he'll rise to the task; the reward King Toshinori offers is more than enough to drive him.
((Fantasy AU - Hawks is hired to save Shouto from a curse. His best friend and big-time crush Dabi happens to be the Todoroki Touya they're all looking for. Hawks has no idea. they'll probably get through it all fine eventually because I like a happy ending :') ))

With a good legal team and a defense like 'a crazy god inhabited my mind and I have several ways to prove it, also would you like to meet my father', Akechi manages to wrangle a sentence rooted in rehabilitation and therapy rather than imprisonment.
Futaba, having spent a long time looking for the culprit responsible for her mother's death, needs answers. Akechi is about to be providing those answers to a therapist, in a room that has CCTV.
The thieves find out more than they bargained for when she hacks the first session, since apparently their leader had been keeping some secrets of his own.AU where the courts take one look at akechi and just chuck him at a therapist, and futaba hacks the cctv. Akira ends up having to explain his no-longer-secret relationship with akechi. Story is told through Akechi's counselling sessions + Akira recounting their relationship to his friends!

Dabi had never been a very lucky man. It shouldn't come as a shock when a quirk changes him into a bird. It also shouldn't come as a shock that he happens to run into Hawks, of all people.
Dabi gets hit by a transform quirk and has to work with Hawks to get back to normal. Hawks, who a) doesn't know the bird he's brought home is the actual villain Dabi, and b) has a habit of self-reflecting out loud.
