Summary
The first thing she tried to write was her name. Her fist clenched the quill, knuckles white as she pressed down on the paper too hard. Lucy manages to write her name, but it hardly feels like her. The lines are messy, the letters disconnected. It's hardly legible; it doesn't even feel like she wrote it. She let out a frustrated groan, leaning her head back. "This feels impossible. Everything is so different. How can I be an author if I can't even write properly?"

The recent days had felt slow and far too quiet as everyone recuperated from the battles of the war with the Black Wizard. Lucy was one of the people who had taken a harder barrage of injuries than most. The feeling of fire in her veins had yet to leave her as she was finally able to leave the makeshift infirmary that was posted by the guild. It had been about five days since she collapsed after rewriting E.N.D. Wendy had told her if it wasn't for Gray using what was left of his magic to cool her down, she might have lost her arm entirely. She had yet to look at the scarring herself-- she had it wrapped constantly so that the burn cream could soothe what Wendy was unable to fix. Her apartment was a warm welcome after so long.

Mira paused to think, tapping a finger to her chin. "Well, I know Lucy is always talking about how she wants new clothes, but never gets the chance to get any because a lot of her money goes to rent and basic amenities."
"I can't get her clothes, Mira! This has got to be special. Life changing. The best gift anyone could ever ask for!" Natsu cried out, gesturing wildly.Or,

Summary
Perhaps this was the rest of her life. Who would know to save her? Why would anyone come to save her? She had failed. She was a traitor, a sorry excuse for a spy. She deserved this. Maybe if she died here, Gillion's memory of her would be preserved. Maybe this way he could still believe that she was a good person. Let him believe in the person she used to be. The person she was while she did everything she could for him while he was trapped in the prison that was the grasp of The Elders.

And with how they had climbed up the ranks, any threat they faced that was big enough to call him to them was going to be a big one, so he prepared himself as he stepped through the doorway that opened before him, readying his sword-
But that wasn't Wilbur. One wing flung out to stop the bullet that shattered against obsidian feathers, and Phil looked over his shoulder to find that instead of the tall figure of Wilbur, he saw the masked face of... a vigilante.
