“...? What? Don’t tell me he’s that bad you don’t even want to talk about it!” She had a wide grin on her face, clearly interested in this topic now.
Chie laughed. “Yeah, I bet that’s it! No way Yosuke is good at kissing!” She made a fake disgusted face. “Bleh, I don’t even want to think about it!”
Yukiko let out a small giggle. “Oh, Chie, stop it…!”
“No, it’s not that…” Yu replied to Rise quietly. “We actually haven’t kissed yet.” He added, even quieter.

They were too casual, unbothered, not even stopping when Ann was for sure close enough to see them. In fact, Ryuji only leaned further back, up against the barrier of the roof, shooting her a quick “‘sup” as if nothing had even been going on while Ren remained single-mindedly focused on his task.
Maybe he’d lost a bet or something. Or maybe it just wasn’t weird. But the question was too present at the forefront of Ann’s mind.

Summary
It was hard to determine how fast Ryuji could move forward in their new relationship. Ren didn't want to push too hard and inevitably lose his boyfriend and, more importantly, his best friend. However, while Ren's mind had been focused wholly on inching along, Ryuji's had been on other matters entirely.
