Looking back, being upset at seeing an eye peering in from his bedroom wall is kind of silly now.
The news it delivered seemed so dire at the time, in spite of him brushing it off to go eat a hearty breakfast.
It turns out that those fifteen days would be the least of his concerns. It was the worst fifteen days life ever threw his way.
Sam just hoped to see something past the end of the horizon once it was safe to look again. Not this.

For most of his life, Sam had lived with an impenetrable wall between himself and "normal" people. As one can imagine, after a lifetime of solitude and an inability to form close connections- then suddenly having your home filled with people is jarring, to say the least. However, there was one critical rule everyone had to follow to be granted residence. No one was to enter his room.

There was a figure hunched over the desk, leaning over the console. He blinked. They wore the same green jacket as any other Fazbear technician. The hat on their head was the same as his. He brought a hand up to rub his eyes, but the scene in front of him didn’t change.
Were he slightly less exhausted, Arnold might (and that is a very strong might) be suspicious of the clearly way-too-sentient endoskeleton wearing a Fazbear technician uniform.
“I don’t really want to be here either,” he says, “So let’s.. get it over with and go home?”
Alternatively, M2 tries out a new costume. It goes surprisingly well.
