Summary
Almost the very moment the Agent gets home, they start shedding their clothes.
“Home” isn’t a good word for where they live, in truth - a medium sized, dingy apartment, equipped with only the necessities and the small handful of personal effects they kept. It was about what you could expect with the Agency’s shoestring budget, paired with the potential that they’d need to pack up and go as fast as possible.

There's no way in hell Roxana could ever repay Phoenix for everything they've done... They've opened her eyes. They saved the entire Agency- saved her own life! The last thing they need is her sticking around, no doubt making everything worse... Rescue would come for the agent any second, now, and that spells trouble if they find her there with them.
... But after their incredible display, Phoenix isn't doing so hot. They're weak, vulnerable, and despite others' claims, they're not an unstoppable force. They need one last favor... and coincidentally, she still owes a debt.

The Agent… hurts.
Their vision blurs when they force their eyes open, their side burns, and thinking is… difficult.It takes them a moment to realize the static in their ear isn’t just inside their head.
Then the rest of their situation comes flooding back in, and they feel their heart skip a few beats as adrenaline and a brief spike of absolute terror freezes their blood in their veins.The air smells of smoke and chemicals and it sears the back of their throat - but that’s not the imminent threat right now.
No, that honour goes to the Zoraxis operative who’d just lodged a bullet in their side.-
Agent Phoenix is many things. But, despite what Zoraxis seems to think (though they deny it), they are not immortal. All it would take for the evil organisation to finally be free from the insufferable thorn in their side is one person getting lucky.
Their Handler is very, very aware of that fact.
