Summary
Finally awoken from her state of suspended animation, Nico Robin finds herself having to battle her pressing inner thoughts as a haunting figure from her past had appeared out of nowhere and inflicted a devastating reminder that her journey with the Straw Hats was always on borrowed time, no matter how much she wished that wasn’t the case.

Summary
The melody softens exponentially. It takes shape and resembles closely the way the original song is played, but with a careful dose of softness and light that Enid can’t help but pour into everything she does.
While Wednesday prefers the dark rendition that filled her ears only seconds ago, she finds that she isn’t displeased with the brighter form the music takes shape in. She quickly wonders if she's suffering a stroke.
Or
Wednesday learns that Enid can play the piano, and it’s all been downhill from there.

Summary
“Go on. I know you want to. Tell me how absurd of me it was to freak out, to worry that something terrible happened to you.”
“How can I?” Wednesday’s voice cracked in a rather heartbreaking way as she dared her voice to speak again.
The intensity of Enid’s anger dissipated like the morning dew and was immediately replaced with something new. Her expression softened greatly as worry now dominated her features as she looked upon the woman who seemed to curl into herself even more than she already was.
“What?’ Enid practically whispered.
“How could I convince you not to worry when my fear for you has completely paralyzed me?” The raven’s eyes fell to the ground under the weight of the confession.
Or,
Wednesday saw a vision of the one person she couldn't bear to lose and its all been downhill from there.

Summary
it wasn’t only enid’s focus in fragments, though. wednesday’s eyes lingered somewhere below hers. she sucked in a breath. oh. wednesday looked up again, the barest flicker of alarm making home in the slope of her face.
in that moment, the last bridges of enid’s denial collapsed into the ravine they swung over.
enid wanted to kiss wednesday like the weight of the consequences wouldn’t haunt her lips.
enid would be lying if she said it wasn’t wednesday on her mind instead of her boyfriend. she has only one saving grace: she’s good at hiding. but enid’s not sure how much longer she can hide, not when wednesday looks at her the way she does.

Summary
“Did you think I was going to let you sleep on the floor?”
Thank goodness the darkness hid her blushing cheeks. “I... I mean, I’m not opposed to that—”
“Suletta, just get in bed.”
On second thought, maybe she’d defy physics and start glowing at the rate she was burning up.
After a late study session, Suletta stays the night with Miorine.

Summary
for a long moment, nothing happened. enid twitched her fingers against wednesday’s hair with bated breath.
a beat passed, suspended in ravaged desperation, and tears streaked her skin. not just any tears, though; black as obsidian, they pooled from wednesday’s tear ducts and slipped down her face. a lump formed in enid’s throat at the sight. she had never seen this happen before.
wednesday’s visions have been getting more intense. one night, it comes to a head.
