There was one question that echoed in his hollow heart, one that sang to him tauntingly,
What was his wish?
My wish?
A child reached out for the stars, just as they threatened to burn him alive, the sweet smile never leaving his face.
Did it matter anymore?
My wish is to fulfill everyone’s wishes!
That child was consumed by the very stars he wished upon. Left to be a string of binary code, nothing more than a memory lost to time. But alas his hope had sung to the universe, something he’d never get to see himself.
