Summary
The day after Scar breaks up with Grian, the dead come back to life. Knowing that venturing out alone is a death sentence, the sudden onset of the apocalypse forces them to stick together despite the tensions between them. In the wreckage of the world, they're forced to survive side-by-side, coming to terms with the fact that—try as they might—there's no one they trust more than each other.
“Go!” Grian shouts as the monster charges, putting his whole force into the blow.
Scar watches, frozen stiff as Grian fights until blood and gore and viscera mark the creature up like a Pollock painting.
“What are you waiting for?!” Grian snaps when he finally notices that Scar is still standing there. He grips his weapon tight and attacks a final time, slamming the zombie down—good and dead—and standing panting over top of it, strained but victorious. He starts rushing from the scene, calling back for Scar over his shoulder. “Run!”
And in a way that’s as familiar to him as breathing, Scar chases after him.

Summary

The avian finds a group, a bundle of people that calls themselves the ‘Hermits’, all from different walks of life, some even hybrids, who had joined the world and claimed it as their own! So now he’s tasked to figure out why everybody is so strange while ensuring they don’t figure out he doesn’t belong. Shouldn’t be so hard…

Summary
Mumbo is an aspiring assassin who can’t seem to kill anyone, which is unfortunate, because he’d really like to! On the precipice of a kill, Cub swoops in at the last second, and unfortunately for everyone, Cub *really* doesn’t like witnesses. Mumbo thinks this is a great opportunity to chat, if only Cub would stop trying to stab him.
Grian and Scar have secrets that run deeper than humanity's existence, to which Cub is apathetic and Mumbo is blind. Grian can't keep up his defenses forever, he just hopes he has enough time before the hammer finally drops.
For clarification since the relationship tags are kind of a mess this is a Cub and Mumbo centric fic however like mix and match all four of them and SOMETHING has happened. Nothing is sacred.
