Damian’s family are pestering him to be more of a normal teenager. He doesn’t want to be more of a normal teenager. The average teens he observes at school are brainless savages. But his family is getting so annoying about it he’d do almost anything to get them to shut up.
Then Marinette Dupain-Cheng transfers to his school. She’s intelligent, quiet, respectful of his boundaries— generally acceptable.
His family want normal teen behavior? Fine. He’ll bring a girlfriend home.
“Will you be my girlfriend?”
Marinette blinks. Ya know what? This might as well happen.
“Sure.”
Daminette as told through equally socially unaware messes, general misunderstandings of each other's skill and experience, and a total lack of awareness as to how many flowers are too many flowers.

Summary
After another close call with death, Melissa's decided enough is enough in Beacon Hills. At least for the summer. So, she forces Scott to pack his bags and drags him all the way to Forks, Washington where a pack of shifters waits for them. According to Chris Argent, the shifters are well-faced in training new wolves and holding their own in protecting their land. This means, allegedly, Scott wouldn't have to get involved in anything if he didn't want to. Because the wolves have it covered, obviously. Except, Scott doesn't see a pack. He sees a group of troubled, pressured, and honestly traumatized wolves with no social skills. And Scott knows a thing or two about having a difficult group of people in a pack.
Still, Scott promised to stay out of it, and so he will. He does, in fact. Up until the point Stiles comes rushing across the state in his beat-up jeep declaring there's an army of newborn vampires tearing up Seattle. Honestly, Melissa doesn't know why she even bothered.Series
