Summary
It shouldn’t bother her, seeing Lucifer with another woman, not when she’s seen him in much more compromising positions than a hug, but there was something about that moment that felt...well, momentous.
When Chloe goes to talk to Lucifer after the necklace case and finds him with Eve, she's crushed and rushes out before they can see her. Lucifer follows. If that isn't bad enough, it starts raining.

Summary
Candy’s always been a bit of a matchmaker. When she sees two of her friends pining for each other and neither has the nerve to do something about it, she can’t help but try and nudge them along. The last two days, she’s watched Lucifer and Chloe together, seeing how they work together. She listened to Lucifer as he fought to win back their partnership and saw how hurt Chloe was by his actions. And she does believe he was only trying to do right by the Detective; she heard it in his voice the night they drank wine and ate ice cream together.
After saying goodbye to Lucifer, Candy decides to take a detour to Chloe's apartment where she tells the Detective there's more to the situation that meets the eye. Confused but quickly reaching conclusions, Chloe in turn goes to confront Lucifer.

Besides, as delicious as the UST between you two is, there’s only so much the rest of us can handle without suffocating. Just bone already.”
Two Deckerstar NYE scenarios in which both lovable idiots are pining for the other and too afraid to go for it. Until a New Year's Eve party gives them the opportunity to start the new year off right.
