    Life for our protagonists has completely changed. Now Charlie must live with her role as Queen of Hell and the weight of the guilt of her actions, while Emily must come to terms with her role as Roo's guardian. Both sisters have a lot on their minds and very few trusted people to cling to. But unfortunately, Hell, even if it is now made safe, is not at all pacified, and they will soon have to face new storms of inexorable violence. All this while in Heaven Vaggie and Lute will have to deal not only with themselves, but also with the intrigues that hide behind the blissful realm, in the hope of finding Adam, the only one who seems to know how to stop everything that is coming, and that no one knows where he is yet. Will they, with the help of the few trustworthy people that they have, be able to win over all the trouble that there is on the horizon, or will they too succumb to its power?

    After Charlie and her friends' victory against the angelic army and Adam's death, the troubles are far from over. Over the course of two weeks after the battle ended, a new demon appeared in Hell. No one knows who he is, what he wants, or even his face: all that is known is that he goes around kidnapping overlords, killing anyone who gets between him and them, and that nothing and no one seems to be able to stop him because he possesses strength incomparable to any other sinner, so much that the media called him "Army of One". Charlie and her friends find themselves forced to look for this mysterious individual, in the hope of being able to stop him before he does serious damage to Pentagram City; but the reality is much more sinister than they imagine, and not only the future of their city could be at risk, but also the future of all of Hell... and maybe even more. And everything revolves around this mysterious man who has just arrived in Hell, whose hatred towards demons and the Morningstar family seems to be unstoppable

    After the recent catastrophe, everyone is trying to pick up the pieces. Emily must live with the guilt of her actions and the weight of becoming a fallen angel, and Charlie must deal with her family and the past of the Morningstars. But they may not have much time to recover, because what happened is only the beginning of a chain of potentially disastrous events that could occur: without a strong king anymore and with a large part of the nobility out of action, Hell quickly begins to collapse into anarchy, and people like the Vees are ready to take their share. It's time for Charlie to start acting like a real princess... and she has to do it at the worst time ever. Meanwhile, Adam, in Heaven, is deeply conflicted about the profound beliefs he had until the day before, and finds himself having to manage further unpleasant personal situations... all while the suspicions that something much more serious and dangerous is on the way grow deeper and deeper in him.

    A week has passed since the angels were forced to retreat and the Extermination was cancelled; the Hazbin Hotel has been rebuilt, peace reigns again, and although the demons still seem reluctant to embark on the path of redemption Charlie is optimistic about the future. That is, at least until an unexpected guest shows up at her door asking for help, revealing the first of a long series of secrets that Heaven and Hell have kept for centuries. With the discovery that redemption is possible, the return of an enemy who was thought to be defeated, the emergence of new threats, Hell which increasingly descends into chaos where the most evil are the masters, and more and more hidden truths that come to light, what will happen to the Hazbin Hotel? Will Charlie and her friends be able to at least save themselves, or will they be consumed by the anarchy into which the entire cosmos is slowly sinking?
