The commodore just rolls his eyes once more, pocketing Martyn’s pistol in its holster and the keys to his cell along with it, “I’ll send someone down when your letter of approval arrives from Scar. Till then,” He jabs a finger at him warningly, “Play nice.”
“Ooo,” Martyn coos, raising his hands in faux-surrender, “Very scary. I’ll be expecting a written apology when all this is over. And all of my things.”
No reaction is given in response, the man simply turns and begins to ascend the stairs. Martyn snaps forward, one hand curled around a bar, “All of it, commodore, I kept track of every goddamn cent!” He didn’t. Not that he needs to know that though if it keeps his finances in the green for when he gets the hell out of here.
The door above him slams shut with deafening finality.

Summary
Grian found himself trapped in a glass box. All he wanted was to see his best friend, but instead he falls into a trap created by said best friend. He didn't see Mumbo Jumbo at first, probably because of the dark room with only low-flamed lanterns that seems to be on shelves in the wall. Grian started with wanting to see Mumbo, but now that he did, he wishes he didn't. It's not everyday your friend that was missing for a month returns with purple eyes and and a hungered mouth, you know?
or where Mumbo Jumbo became obsessed with Grian in a very "inhumane" way.
