Mike pressed his lips into a thin line at those words, unknowingly making him feel like an idiot. Maybe it was already too late? Lately, they hadn’t done this often. What if Will had long stopped being the person he wanted to come to with his problems?
He grimaced at the thought. He definitely should have sensed the situation.
“I mean, I’m saying it generally. No matter what you need, I’ll always be here for you.”
