Still, Ken didn't know if he would ever be able to forgive himself for it. Takeru might not have minded it, but Ken sure as hell did. How could he move on from something so glaring that he couldn't unsee once he first noticed it? Even if he couldn't see the discolored skin along Takeru's cheek often, when he did catch sight of it, he was reminded all over again of how atrocity and horror ran through his veins just as much as blood did.
