Okay so Marinette might not be a normal girl with a normal life like she'd like to believe, at least not in when the said "normal" girl has a pretty bad coping mechanism. And so with the encouragement from her parents, she got to see a therapist. Hopefully our girl can learn to have a healthier approach to her confusing emotions throughout her life both as a civilian and a hero, forming bonds with friends and family (not guaranteed that she wouldn't fumble though).
