The distance between them had closed without him recognizing it, and now Rohan was close to him - too close - legs tucked under his lap, earrings reflecting the TV screen, powder blue light flickering in the shadow of his eyelashes, the bridge of his nose, and he realizes that he’s been frozen, and Rohan’s expression is cautious, curious, as he silently asks is this okay, can I have this, and Jotaro answers him by wrapping a hand around his waist, slots his mouth over his with something akin to relief.

Seriously, Phainon’s eyes had softened when he looked at Mydei. Multiple times. In public! And here Caelus thought eyes could only soften in Jing Yuan fanfiction.
