Five years ago, the war ended — but tensions between the space colonies and Remnant have remained. A task force named the Grimm has been dispatched from Remnant to hunt down rebels and subjugate the colonies. The humanoid war machine Gundam is going to pull four lives back into the maelstrom of war: Ruby Rose, a lonely junkyard worker; Weiss Schnee, a test pilot seeking a place to belong; Blake Belladonna, who fought against the Gundam before; and Yang Xiao Long, the ace pilot with broken wings.

When Raven Branwen’s (now ex-) husband runs off, leaving her alone with a blonde bundle of joy named Yang, she has no idea how a former bandit with no child-raising skills like her is supposed to last on her lonesome. Winter’s icy embrace is on the horizon, and without any money or a job, tragedy might follow. With no other option, Raven calls Summer Rose, the leader of the team she quit nearly a year ago, for help in sorting out her troubled life and very troubled family. But she soon finds that there’s a lot more she needs to learn from Summer than how to fold blankets or change diapers if she doesn’t want her little household to come apart before the year’s end.

Just before the first Summer’s breath, a beast would arise from the depths of the ocean, and wreak havoc upon Canada, coming to their aid with a Raven’s speed, the events of the monsters destruction would forever change the lives of thousands, the Jaeger academy would be born, training it’s candidates into monster hunters.
These men and women, the Rangers, would become the Hero's of the world, and the inspiration of children al across the Globe, but who were the first of these?“There are certain things you can’t fight, acts of god, you see a hurricane, you get out the way. But when you’re in a Jaeger, suddenly you can fight the hurricane. You can win.
