Summary
Tartarus always keeps a part of a soul.
Nico, as a son of Hades, could keep it together, but knowing part of Percy and part of Annabeth are still in Tartarus, he returns to retrieve them.
Nursing Percy's shadowself/doppelganger back to health results in him getting a boyfriend.
Now when Nico goes to introduce Perseus, as the doppelganger prefers to be called, to the others, he ends up with two boyfriends. Not that he minds, because who wouldn't want two Percys?
