He didn’t need her to finish. There was no need for words at all. Heaven had opened, the angels were singing, and he had a glorious new mission. “Hey. You know how you said we should get back at Adam?” he asked.
Charlie laughed nervously. “You know, I don't actually remember saying that.”
“Charls, I've got it.” Angel grabbed her hand, grinning with a love of life that he hadn't felt in a long time. “I'm going to fuck his dad.”
Adam's caused Husk a lot of problems over the years. This is a new one.
