Summary
Grian was having issues sleeping. That was nothing new, but recently, with the server switch, it had gotten worse. You see, his avian instincts required that he had a nest, a proper cove of blankets and pillows and smells. That's what messed him up, the new nest simply didn’t smell right.
Scared of asking for help from his fellow hermits, he finds himself avoiding it, simply passing out wherever he needs to, just enough to keep him upright.
When his friends find out what's going on, they put a stop to that immediately.
(PS - This fic doesn’t fit into my normal lore! This is the only fic that bird boy is not a watcher, and might make a different one where he is.)

Summary
Being the outcast of the Seven was never easy. Neither was being judged for his drinking habits, or thought by others to take everything for granted, not deserving his position between the Seven.
But what helped was that they never pronounced those thoughts aloud, so Barbatos could act as if he never noticed the cold stares, the judging looks. That was until he came in late to one of their most important meeting.
So what happens when Barbatos goes missing, and the only sign that he is alive is the slow and steady beating of his gnosis, connected to the other archons'?
Or an AU where the Original Seven are still alive and never died, and judge Barbatos too harshly. But we still love them.
PS: as of the 2.6 update, which is the time I started writing this fanfic, we know nothing of the former archons thus why they might be ooc, but for the sake of the story, we're going to ignore it. I just changed the name of the Dendro Archon to her original one because, for those who will see this in the future, this fanfic wasn't posted when 3.0 came out, so it was easy for me to just put Rukkhadevata instead of Kusanali.
