Summary
*ON HIATUS*
The day Ned Stark murdered Lady on orders of the King, he taught his daughter a very important lesson. He was not on her side. He would not fight for her. He would always listen to anyone but his own daughter. He would hold her responsible for the actions of others. And Sansa Stark would never forget the actions of her father that day – both what he did and what went unspoken.
There were things Ned Stark regretted in his life but killing his daughter’s direwolf was near the top. Sansa was never the same towards him after that day. He feared there was no love in her heart for him and he could not blame her for that but he would fight to earn that back. Celebrating her sixteenth birthday, Ned came to a decision. He would not force his daughter into a marriage. She was a Stark and her marriage would be important to the Stark family and their alliances but Ned could not do that to her. He would let Sansa choose her own husband – and happiness – and maybe, she could also grow to forgive and love him again, too.

Summary
“You’re butchers,” she said and her tone was one of pleasant surprise.
“Well, Jon’s the butcher. I’m just the pretty front face,” Grenn said, making Sansa laugh.
She then looked at Jon with those sparkling blue eyes of hers. “I’ve never met a butcher.”
Jon was silently pleased with himself when he was actually able to speak words that made sense. “I’ve never met a baker,” he smiled a little and Sansa laughed again. It wasn’t exactly the truth but what he wanted to say – “I’ve never met a baker who looks like you” – wouldn’t be that appropriate.

Summary
“This is not a test. This is your Emergency Broadcast System. Announcing the commencement of the annual purge sanctioned by the U.S. Government. Weapons of class four and lower have been authorized for use during the purge. All other weapons are restricted. Government officials of ranking 10 have been granted immunity and shall not be harmed. Commencing at the siren, any and all crime, including murder, will be legal for 12 continuous hours. Police, fire and emergency medical services will be unavailable until tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. when the purge concludes. Blessed be our new founding fathers and America… A nation reborn. May God be with you all.”
...
“Please don’t leave me.”
The words fell from Sansa’s mouth because this man had come out here like so many others to exercise their right to purge but he had grabbed her and hid her from that truck of men instead of just letting God knows what happen to her and now, Sansa didn’t want to let this man out of her sight.
On this night, no one saved anyone but this man with the skeleton mask, guns and bulletproof vest had taken the time to save her.

Summary
"Promise me," Sansa whispers, tears pooling in her eyes, and she doesn't care how vulnerable - and scared - she sounds right then. "Promise me you won't... I hear she is beautiful."
Jon steps to her and with his hands on her cheeks, he holds her face and stares into her eyes. "I promise you. You are my only Queen and you always will be."

Summary
“Yes…” Sansa nods and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear. “The parts of history I’m interested in, I’m never able to find any books about.”
“Like what?” Jon leans forward, resting his arms on his desk, looking at her with his complete attention.
She opens her mouth to answer, but then, she closes it again and shakes her head. “It doesn’t matter. There are probably no books on it because no one knows anything about it.”
“Tell me,” he says. “Please. Perhaps I can find something and create a lecture around it.”

Summary
He spots a head of red, wavy hair through the crowd and he knows it’s Sansa because he knows her head. It’s a beautiful head.
He memorized it a long time ago. Theon had dragged them to a shopping mall out in the suburbs because apparently, they had had an actual Hot Dog on a Stick in their food court (they hadn’t and Theon had yelled about it for hours afterwards) and as Robb drove them all home, Sansa had fallen asleep in the backseat, her head finding a resting place on Jon’s shoulder for the entire ride back into the city. Even getting stuck in traffic hadn’t bothered him because it only meant that Sansa’s head remained on his shoulder.

Summary
Jon looked up to Sansa. “Lady Sansa, I offer my services. I will shield your back and keep your counsel and give my life for yours if need be. I swear it by the old gods and new,” he vowed.
No vow had ever come easier.

Summary
The night before, as Sansa oversaw the packing of her trunks – her chamber at Winterfell being emptied of her possessions to take to her new home with her – she had asked her brother to describe her soon-to-be husband because Robb hadn’t even supplied a sketch of the man.
“Well, he’s… pretty,” Robb decided after a moment’s contemplation.
“Pretty?” Sansa’s eyebrows both raised at that.

Summary
“You should go back to bed,” Jon tells her.
He’s not surprised when Sansa shakes her head.
“If you’re up, I’m up,” Sansa says and then nestles in close to him, wrapping an arm around his middle, and Jon’s arm squeezes around her shoulder and his lips rest to her forehead for a moment.

Summary
“Sansa, please,” Jon had pled with her, grasping her hands. “I’ll tell Robb. I promise you.”
Sansa had shaken her head, pulling her hands from his and cursing the tears that had insisted on building up in her eyes despite her best efforts. “You won’t.” She said it in a whisper, but her words were strong. “I know that now.”
