Summary
Tommy didn’t remember much at all from before They took him. He remembered heat, and screaming, and then the total, absolute silence of death. He remembered choking on ash as he screamed, barely even a toddler, for his parents.
His first clear memory came only moments after, when he was gripped by warm hands and pulled from the rubble.
Now, as an adult, a not insignificant part of him wished that he had died as a child in the same flames that his village had been razed in.
OR
Tommy is a human raised by Gods who is sick of their shit and runs away to a better life. And you know what? It works.

Summary
It was only days after his birth that she was forced to abandon her son. He had been born pink, screaming, and beautiful; the most beautiful thing she’d ever seen in her life. More beautiful, even, than the gold-encrusted in the walls of the cave she’d given birth to him in.
He’d looked so much like his father. It was for this reason that she could not keep him.The problem was this: her son’s father was not from the Nether. He had come to her through one of the swirling, purple portals that led to the Overworld.

Summary
Dick had forgotten a lot about his parents in the twenty-two years since they’d died. He remembered the glitter of the lights, the excitement of the show, and the feel of the train rocking him to sleep as they travelled from showground to showground. But the memory that was clearest to him, perhaps because it was so out of place even way back then, was when, at the age of six, his mother had sat him down and carefully explained death to him. Because she'd been sad. So very sad.

Summary
Bruce first noticed the inconsistency shortly before Dick had taken his first flight as Robin. He’d been running blood tests, not for the first time, making sure everything was okay and alright and maybe searching for a reason to keep him inside and benched for a little while longer. It was then that he noticed the inconsistency.
Dick was not human. Close, but no dice.

Summary
New York City, New York, was different than Provo, Utah. It was loud and brash and bright, and as he sat in his brother’s apartment Alexander Price felt like he’d been punched in the gut.
Recommended that you read 'Polaroid' first for context.

Summary
The world was bright, bright, brightbrightbright, and it stung his eyes as he looked upwards. Everything was wrong – he was drowning in air, falling from the highest mountain, lying on a soft, warm bed, screaming his lungs out with no sound at all. He remembered this feeling; it was how he felt seconds before he faded from consciousness, just before life ceased making sense.

Summary
Adrien and Marinette didn’t turn up for school on Wednesday.
It wasn’t unusual for Adrien not to come to school. Photoshoots for his father sometimes got in the way and he often missed a day here or there.
It was slightly unusual for Marinette to miss school. Sure, she was almost always late, but she hardly ever missed a full day. She must have been really sick.
Adrien and Marinette didn’t turn up for school on Thursday.Originally written for Adrinette April, but I never finished the other pieces... so I thought I'd post it as it is.
