The radiant sun bathed the wooden board as Toge skillfully diced vegetables for their long-awaited dinner. Simultaneously, the gentle tapping of tiny footsteps echoed across the hardwood floors of their cozy living space. Their nearly six-year-old daughter, full of energy, darted around the short distance between the sofa and the kitchen.
Toge remained unperturbed, a warm smile spreading across his face. He added the diced peppers and green onions to the sizzling pan before turning back to watch his daughter’s playful antics. She pretended to be a magic princess embarking on a perilous quest, her laughter filling the kitchen.

Angel is working at the morningstar cafe owned by none other then Charlie morningstar and her girlfriend vaggie. After some issues with his manger alastor he is forced to take up extra time at the front of the shop where he gets to know some of the regulars, including this one guy everyone just calls “husk” he doesn’t speak much he gets the same shit every day with the same shitty mood and no tip. Angel pays no mind to him afterall why should he ? Just some random dude but nifty ( his annoying coworker ) starts spreading gossip of Angel “having a crush” on the old guy. Fine that’s fine it doesn’t matter until his boyfriend gets word of this. then it matters of course because Valentino doesn’t let shit go so now he needs to find a new place to stay! Great thing there’s an apartment nearby but who would have guessed the first person he sees when he gets to his room is the so called “crush.” So much for having neighbors.
