“Do you recognize this person, John?"

John snorts, dismissing Butcher with a judgmental glare. “No. I should hope not.”

Butcher smiles wide, grin spreading over his face. “That hurt my feelings, Johnny,” he says, putting his right hand over his heart. “Seeing as I'm your husband after all.”

    Summary

This part will tell the story of how Butcher and John ended up together in the first place instead of killing each other.

Homelander regains his consciousness when he finds himself laying unceremoniously on the floor of an unknown dark place with a cuff on his ankle tied to the nearest pole. What the fuck?
Billy Butcher got a change of heart at the last second. Instead of killing Homelander he let him live as a powerless normal person as a punishment.

And……Homelander actually offered him a wife right? As he bargained for Butcher to spare his life.
    Well, ain’t that sound interesting.

P.S. Tags and warnings might be updated and added as the story progresses because I'm a lazy hippo I don't think ahead too much and I'm not responsible for anyone's heart attack. You're all grownup enough to read fanfiction without too detailed tags and warnings. Thank you!
