Summary
Mumriks are blood-thirsty monsters who eat troll meat, and while they may seem harmless, it's always only a disguise. Moominpappa is a living proof of this theory, for he is the only one who survived an adventure with a mumrik, and those are all his words. Everybody believes him and trusts his opinion without ever asking for details.
The only skeptical troll in Moominvalley happens to be Moominpappa's very own son, Moomintroll. He believes that there is good in everyone, and there are no creatures that are purely evil. His point gets a chance to be proven when a mysterious guest appears in Moominvalley. While other trolls are horrified, Moomintroll decides to try his luck regardless of possible danger.

Summary
