A thought pops up in Gordon’s head, unbidden. He could roll with this. Just this once. Just to see what happens. “I could,” Gordon says slowly. He wets his lips, suddenly dry from nerves. “You know. Since we’re already doing this. Just to try it.”
“what?”
“Don’t make me repeat myself, man. It’s embarrassing.”
“huh?”
Gordon swears aloud. “You’re a dick, you know that? I’m telling you,” and he makes sure to enunciate this part, “to boss me around a little. I’m humoring you. Get it?”

Summary
Hunger.
Dazai turns the word over in his mind a few times, contemplating. He thinks he should probably feel disgusted by the thought of his partner wanting to eat a person. That would be the normal, human reaction, he assumes.
Good thing neither of them has ever been anything resembling a normal human because what he feels is the opposite of disgust.
Or, Chuuya likes his meals rare and with a bit of Dazai for dessert.

He was a beta. He was normal. Barely any scent, no cycles, no mating instincts. Just plain old normal.
At least, that’s what he thought.
He thought he was normal.
But instead, Dazai is currently curled up on his single mattress in the shipping container that he calls home as he sweats profusely and struggles through cramps, pains, and the desire to nest. His mattress has a single thin blanket, which apparently does not satisfy the omega instincts trying to claw their way out of his mind. He was so close, too; days away from his 17th birthday, the birthday that would have officially made him a beta.
Hope is a killer disease.

Summary
Dazai's a strategist at heart, brain meant for laying traps instead of unraveling them, and while saving people is a noble goal, it's also a deeply boring one. Growing up walking through firefights, creating complex strategies that put his life on the line, dodging graviton bombs to nullify Corruption - he didn't become an adrenaline junkie, exactly, but he became adrenaline dependent.
Dazai's future at the Agency stretches out before him like the most bland of landscapes and some days it makes him want to just put a bullet in his brain because getting used to that sounds like hell.
Or, Dazai makes progressively worsening life choices.
