And also kind of nervous, because he'd never been away from home for more than a weekend, and he'd emailed the guy who was supposed to be his roommate and the guy had never responded, so that was a little worrisome, because Jayce thought he'd managed to be super chill in the email but he was never really sure and Jayce didn't really have that many friends because everyone said he was so intense, but he didn't know any other way to be.

"Oh, you're already here." Viktor's roommate stepped further into the room, his arms bulging with stuff, followed by an older woman who was almost certainly his mother. He dropped his shit on the empty bed, then stuck out his hand. "So, hi, I'm Jayce."
"Viktor," he said, and stood up to take Jayce's hand on autopilot, because the only thing that he could actually think was Oh no, he's hot.

Viktor doesn’t want to be here. It had taken a lot of pleading, losing a bet, and even more pleading before Jayce had managed to drag him to the party, so, yes, of course he’s miserable.
Not that Jayce expected him not to be, though, to be fair to his partner. In all his begging he had verbally batted away Viktor’s attempts to put the words you’ll enjoy it when you get there into his mouth with an insistence that he doesn’t even enjoy these evenings much. And that Viktor owes him at least one, please, Vik, even if you hate it.
So, Viktor caved. And now he’s here. Hating every boring second.

His eyes fly open when he doesn’t hear a response. If it were anyone else, he’d imagine they would have stood up and walked out of there without a second thought. Would have probably laughed in his face before they left, too. Maybe Viktor is different. Maybe he just really wants to suck his dick.
That’s just cocky, Jayce. Twenty in the Douche Bag jar, per Caitlyn’s rules.
But his declaration seems to get a rise out of Viktor because he looks up to him from down on his knees with a humorous glint in his eyes. A cheap chuckle comes from below.
“This is… this is just me broadening my horizons, you know,” Jayce adds, just to be safe. “Drunken fun is all.”
“Broadening your horizons,” Viktor says flatly. “Whatever you say, birthday boy.”
