The Treviso markets bustling with all manner of folks, brushing past each other, hawking wares, and bartering. Rook was looking for one booth in particular. One she usually avoided, since it didn't sell any of the usual gear or goods they needed for their day to day work. She had caught Emmerich and Bellara at it a few times though, murmuring about needing the polish for the metals that were in their various magical instruments and jewelry, and for grease for stubborn interconnected parts. As she walked up to the surface dwarf running the stall Rook realized a bit belatedly that she was wildly out of her element.
Rook nodded, hands perched on her hips, trying to seem more knowledgeable than she was. "I was uh, I was wondering if you had anything that would um..." She coughed, twisting her mouth in a frown as she tried to find the right words, "I'm looking for something to help maintain a leg?"

Caitlyn panicked, feeling extraordinarily unprepared having been thrust into her new position without so much as even a handbook to consult. What were the formalities? What was she supposed to respond with? Where was the damn push to talk button…
“Hellooo? I said Houston, do you copy?”
Caitlyn fiddled with her headset, having finally found the green button on the side and hastily letting out a rather breathless reply. “Um, yes. Hello? This is Houston. I copy.”
There was a long pause in which Caitlyn sat twiddling her thumbs, anxiety pushing the frantic pulse of her heartbeat through her eardrums. Was that wrong? Did she already fuck up? She took a steady deep breath, finger hovering over the talk button until the familiar voice of the astronaut came through her headset once more.
“Damn, Houston. I didn’t expect you to sound so sexy.”
OR
Caitlyn has been assigned as the personal capcom to one of the astronauts currently on a year long expedition at the international space station. Cue long months of pining and desperate longing.
