Ravio was an enigma to most of the heroes of courage, besides Legend of course. He seemed to be identical to Legend in most physical traits, and yet they were total opposites.
Everyone had words for him, such as funny or quirky, but Wild’s response was the best way to describe the merchant… Interesting. He is not light and not dark and all churning, uneven gray and faded black, the faint flickers of the moments after twilight consumes the sky, encapsulated into a soul.
He is forsaken by every side in the accursed cycle, accepted by none and unwilling savior to all.
He is all that is left, and he was not in the first place.
He is Shadow, and he can only pray that his mistakes will not be the end of Hyrule.

Summary
Four is usually disoriented from switching. He can be dazed and stumbling around for hours until he's able to right himself. Sometimes he passes out and is dead weight. Once he lost physical functions after switching. The smith had tried to play it off as a once-off occurrence but Twilight remembers the time Four couldn't stand because his legs wouldn't respond.
They've been lucky, until now. When the switch occurred Four would always land near someone capable of helping him if he had a rough time. Now, alone and possibly helpless, Twilight is all too aware of everything that could go wrong.
(AKA we see what switching does to Four from the point of view of his friends)

Wind stuck out his tongue as Sky hummed in contemplation. “This is definitely the biggest Hyrule we’ve seen so far. It’s so pretty.”
“Does no one recognize it?” Twilight asked.
Sky sighed. He wasn’t the biggest fan of finding new Hyrule’s, especially so late in their journey.
