Summary
Evan and Ethan are nearly identical but their lives are very different. Ethan seems to get all the love an attention from their parents while Evan gets to be out in the world and explore new things. They don't understand why they're treated so differently and there's a resentment that builds up between them.
Buck, now a firefighter in LA, finally feeling like he's got a life for himself and people that he cares about, begins to have regrets reconnecting with his twin when he walks around that corner and see Ethan kissing Eddie.

I don't know, I'm bad at summaries. Buck's got a twin, the twin saved Daniel and the Buckley parents suck. -

Summary
Eddie needs glasses. Buck reacts normally.
_____
It was obvious now, looking at Eddie, that time had passed like a friend, grazing his features with the sort of tenderness only a loved one could manage. It was his Eddie, the same one who sauntered into the 118 decades prior, just softened.
Buck burst into tears.
Eddie, alarmed, cupped Buck's face, thumbing lightly at the swell of his cheeks. "Buck? Buck, baby, what's wrong?"
Buck sniffled, straining against the burn in his throat to answer. "You're getting old."

Summary
“I mean,” Eddie backtracks hastily, “that I probably don’t—uh, that I don’t want a hook up. Just the single, uh, kiss. For research.”
“Right,” Buck nods. “For research.”
They turn back to the TV, sipping beers and spooning dessert, room quiet save for the telenovela playing. Buck, gun to his head, could not tell you who or what is on the screen right now. The brave, strong part of his brain has surrendered shamefully, white flag hoisted while the rest of his brain—stupid, stupid—hosts a skillfully imagined supercut of his best friend kissing men. It’s surprisingly new subject matter for him. What’s unsurprising is his distaste for every conjured scenario, discarding each indistinguishable stranger until the reel buffers on something more… familiar.
“Well—”
Eddie waits a patient minute for Buck to continue before asking, “Well, what?”
“I just mean—if it’s just a kiss, right.” Buck pauses. “You could, uh. You could try it with me.”
or, buck thinks kissing men and women feels pretty much the same. eddie’s not buying it. sometimes settling a bet requires kissing your best friend, a lot, for research

Buck - Work

“Eddie?” Buck called from the kitchen, eyes glued to screen as the name disappeared and turned into a missed call notification.
“Did you find it?”
“Yeah,” Buck responded, just loud enough to be heard. He stalked out of the kitchen, phone clutched in his hand as it hung loosely at his side. “I found it.”
-----
Buck finds out Eddie's kept his contact the same for their entire friendship and feels a certain way about it.

Summary
When Buck wakes up he’s immediately comforted by the smell of Eddie’s musky shampoo– this terrible 3-in-one that Buck refuses to recognize as real hair product– but it smells like home. His head is neatly tucked under Buck’s chin, messy hairs tickling his nose as he breathes in the scent. Eddie’s arm is haphazardly thrown across Buck’s torso, and the other man’s right leg is tangled between both of his. He wishes he could take a photo, but that would mean moving, and he absolutely refuses to give this up.
